DALLAS (May 7, 2020) – For the second-straight season, FIU totaled the highest number of student-athletes on the Conference USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll as the Panthers boasted 282 student-athletes on the list.

After earning a conference-high 266 members last year, the Panthers raised the bar for 2019-20 as FIU improved its total to a league-best 282. The FIU women’s track program led the athletic department with 33 members on the honor roll list, with the football program boasting 30 to place second overall at FIU.
Student-athletes named to the Commissioner’s Honor Roll maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better. Student-athletes with a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or better also receive the Commissioner’s Academic Medal. Those recipients will be released tomorrow.
