STREAKING OWLS

FAU enters conference play with a full head of steam, riding an eight-game winning streak. One more win will set the program’s longest winning streak of all-time, which was in 2010-11 and 1988-89. The Owls have also won the last seven games at home, dating back to March 5 last year against FIU, the last home game of the 2021-22 season.

The Owls have had the upper hand against FIU in the last few years with four consecutive wins over the Panthers. Last season, FAU swept FIU by 71-51 and 84-76 final scores. In game two, Alijah Martin went off for a career-high 34 points with six rebounds. Martin also knocked down five 3-pointers in his big day.
