Doubleheader at FGCU Postponed Due to Weather

Impending weather forced the doubleheader to be rescheduled to a yet-to-be-determined date


TAMPA, Feb. 25, 2020 – Due to expected inclement weather during the scheduled game times, University of South Florida softball’s doubleheader against Florida Gulf Coast University has been postponed. A make-up date will be announced at a later date.
 
The Bulls are back in action on Friday, Feb. 28 with a tournament at USF Softball Stadium. The weekend tournament features Rutgers, Texas A&M Corpus Christi and Syracuse. USF opens play for the weekend with a 2 p.m. first pitch on Friday against Rutgers followed by a 4:30 p.m. game against Texas A&M Corpus Christi. On Saturday, Feb. 29, the Bulls battle Syracuse at 11:30 a.m.
 
The Bulls will then have two games against opponents determined by tournament play. USF’s games are scheduled for 4:30 p.m. on Saturday and 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, March 1 regardless of opponent.
