| Pre-game “Make a Statement” Blue Carpet Walk at Little Caesars Arena Plaza gives fans a chance to show off their Detroit Swag; First 3,130 Fans to Receive an “In It For My City” 313 Chain presented by Ally DETROIT – March 10, 2022 – The Detroit Pistons will host their annual Pistons 313 Day Celebration presented by Ally, a series of Pistons-themed festivities that celebrate 313 Day, a Detroit area code-inspired holiday honoring all things Detroit on March 13 vs. Indiana. Pistons 313 Day Celebration will tipoff with a pre-game “Make a Statement” Blue Carpet Walk for fans to show off their Detroit Swag from 4:30-7 p.m. outside at the Little Caesars Arena Plaza. The pre-game event is hosted by 97.9 WJLB radio personality Dr. Darrius and will have food, beverages, and pop-up activations. Festivities continue as doors open with the first 3,130 fans receiving an “In It For My City” 313 Chain presented by Ally, and at halftime, fans will enjoy a special performance by Detroit-native Royce Da 5’9. “313 Day is about bringing together Detroiters to celebrate the city we call home, and the Pistons are excited to give our fans the opportunity to show off their style and appreciation for Detroit at our game on 3/13,” Bilal Saeed, Vice President of Marketing & Brand Strategy said. “Pistons 313 Day Celebration will be a night full of Detroit-themed activations that showcase why we’re proud to be a part of the 313 and what makes this city so special.” As a part of the Pistons 313 Day Celebration, the Pistons also partnered with two Detroit-based fashion icons on retail collaborations that will launch on 313 Day. The first of the collaborations is with Glam-Aholic Lifestyle, a Detroit-based, Black-woman owned business created by Detroit’s own Mia Ray to produce three Pistons-colored fashion bags. The Pistons will also unveil two teal-themed Pistons Starter Jackets designed by Detroit streetwear designer Ty Mopkins. Both retail collaborations will be available on March 13 at Pistons313Shop.com and the Pistons Team Store at Little Caesars Arena.
