Detroit Lions Announce All-Time Team

Allen Park, Mich. – As part of the team’s Fantennial Weekend in celebration of the National Football League’s 100th season, the Detroit Lions announced their All-Time Team during halftime of today’s Homecoming Game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
“These are the greatest players in Detroit Lions history,” President Rod Wood said. “We are extremely proud to join in the celebration of the League’s 100th season by honoring our legends who paved the way for today’s players. Their countless contributions to our game have left a lasting legacy on our organization, the NFL and the entire city of Detroit.”
Selection of the Detroit Lions All-Time Team was determined by fan voting, in addition to contributions from the Detroit Lions Legends Community, a committee of Lions executives and select members of the media. Players included in the voting for the All-Time Team were selected based on years of service with the team, statistical records, postseason accolades, as well as team honors such as the Pride of the Lions.
