DETROIT LIONS ANNOUNCE 2020 TOUCHDOWN IN YOUR TOWN

DETROIT – The Detroit Lions announced today the launch of an online application for the Detroit Lions Charities program, Touchdown in Your Town, benefiting Michigan high school football programs.
In collaboration with Riddell and the United Dairy Industry of Michigan, the program will provide support to schools in need in the form of equipment, technology, apparel and/or grant funding.  
“The Detroit Lions are committed to growing a love of football and ensuring safe play in communities our fans call home by providing resources to Michigan high school football programs in need,” said Jen McCollum, Senior Director of Community Relations and Detroit Lions Charities.
Programs must apply for support through an online application on Detroitlions.com, which opened on Monday, February 10 and will run through Friday, March 13 at 5 PM EST. Submissions will be reviewed by a committee comprised of members from the Lions organization and partners. Once programs are selected, the Lions will work with the school to surprise faculty, students and staff with current players, Detroit Lions Cheerleaders, Roary and partners, who will reveal the new resources and/or funding.
