DETROIT LIONS 2021 SALUTE TO SERVICE PRESENTED BY HUMANETICS

DETROIT
 — The Detroit Lions today announced the line-up of events for their annual Salute to Service initiative, presented by Humanetics. The events are designed to honor and recognize active duty and former servicemembers leading up to, and including, the team’s Salute to Service game against the Philadelphia Eagles on October 31 (Kickoff 1 PM).
Humanetics, headquartered in Farmington Hills, Mich., manufactures crash test dummies and safety technology for the automotive, aerospace and defense industries.
“We want to give back to our community in Detroit and to the people that give so much of themselves to protect others, every day of their lives,” said Humanetics President and CEO Chris O’Connor. “Salute to Service week is an opportunity to do both, and in partnership with the Lions, it is a great way for Detroit to celebrate and thank our veterans and those in active service. Our mission at Humanetics is to save lives and protect people in their greatest moments of need and we believe the servicemen and women we will be honoring embody those same values.”
