Detroit Lions 2019 Hometown Huddle

DETROIT – On Tuesday, November 19, the Detroit Lions will host their Hometown Huddle, presented by Comerica Bank and Caniff Electrical Supply, at Mason Academy.
Hometown Huddle is a national partnership between the NFL and United Way Worldwide where NFL teams participate in a league-wide day of service. The Lions will again partner with United Way for Southeastern Michigan, in coordination with City Year Detroit.
Lions Legends and community volunteers will work together packing student and classroom care kits, and Gleaners food bags. Detroit Lions Charities partner Playworks will also be on site facilitating fun activities with students. Once all kits are packed, current players and Detroit Lions Cheerleaders will deliver the kits to 30 classrooms at Mason Academy.
