Cruise Claim Justin Turner Off Waivers

The Motor City Cruise announced today that they have claimed guard Justin Turner off waivers. To make room for Turner, the Cruise also announced that they have released Jared Cunningham.

              Turner, 6-4, 205, spent the last four years at Bowling Green State. In four years at Bowling Green State, Turner appeared in 119 games, starting 115, and averaged 17.5 points, 3.9 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 32.6 minutes per game. Turner was named to three-straight All-MAC 1st Teams from 2018-21. Turner is eighth all-time in points in the MAC Conference with 2077, and tenth all-time with his average of 17.5 points per game.

              Turner, a Detroit native, attended Renaissance High School, where he averaged 21 points per game in his senior year. Turner was the fourth overall pick in the 2021-22 NBA G League Draft by the Westchester Knicks.
