Coral Springs Schools earn A grades

The City of Coral Springs is pleased to announce that 10 Coral Springs Schools received a grade of ‘A’ from the Department of Education for the 2021-2022 school year.

Congratulations to the following Coral Springs schools that received an ‘A’ grade: Country Hills Elementary School, Eagle Ridge Elementary School, Park Springs Elementary School, Riverside Elementary School, Coral Springs Charter School, Imagine Schools at Broward, Panacea Prep Charter School, Renaissance Charter School at Coral Springs, Summit Academy Charter School, and Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.

In addition, 12 city schools received a ‘B’ grade, and four schools received a ‘C’ grade. Notably, no Coral Springs schools received lower than a grade of “C”. The 2021-22 school year marks the first year since the start of the pandemic that school grade reporting was, once again, made mandatory.

“We recognize that transitioning from virtual to in person learning, along with other pandemic-related challenges, has not been easy for educators or students,” said Deputy City Manager Catherine Givens who serves as the city’s liaison for Coral Springs educational institutions. “We are proud of our teachers and administrators, who despite facing so many obstacles, continue to provide children with an exceptional education.”
