The Coral Springs High School Boys Basketball Team defeated Boca Raton 73 to 48 to win the district basketball championship. Greg Spate led in scoring with 21 points. Jordan Carmona scored ten points and Allen Mathieu scored eight points.
Coach Devin Barta was pleased with the win and his team’s performance. “We have had some ups and downs this season but the players worked hard through the season. This is our first district championship in four years. I am proud of the team.”
The Colts will begin play in the regional tournament on Thursday evening.
