The main COVID – 19 Testing Site in Coral Springs will soon close.

May 14, 2021, the City of Coral Springs will demobilize the Mullins Hall COVID-19 testing site, which operated in partnership with the Florida Department of Health (FDOH) since May 2020.

Nearly 90,000 tests were performed at the well-known vaccine testing site since it opened to the public. With a steady decline in persons being tested, greater access to testing and a decrease in COVID-19 cases, it is no longer necessary to host two test sites in the city. The Florida Division of Emergency Management will continue operate their testing site at Ice Den.

Emergency Management Director, Alexander Falcone said, “Opening a free, public COVID-19 test site during the height of the pandemic was one of our greatest priorities to identify and prevent the spread of COVID-19. The Mullins Hall test site has been one of the most successful sites in the in the county and we appreciate the successful partnership with FDOH.”

Residents can continue to obtain free COVID-19 testing at the Ice Den (3299 Sportsplex Drive), with rapid testing is available. This site is operated 7-days a week, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. In addition to the FDEM site at the Ice Den, numerous private sites are also available in the city.
