TAMPA, NOV. 13, 2019 – Laquincy Rideau scored 15 points with seven steals and USF forced at least 20 turnovers for the third straight game, but it wasn’t enough to hold off a second half rally as IUPUI turned in a 70-53 victory Wednesday at the Yuengling Center.

Marcus Burk scored 26 points and grabbed nine rebounds and Jaylen Minnett added 17 points with seven assists for the Jaguars.

Rashun Williams (Arlington, Ga.) finished with 11 points, four rebounds and two steals to help USF register double digit steals for the third straight game.

Quotable

Head coach Brian Gregory on the game:

“We gave them some good looks early on and when you do that with shooters, all of a sudden they start making some tough ones, and that’s exactly what happened. We were on our heels the whole time and not defending the way we need to. In the process that we’re in, you’re gonna have some tough, tough days. We need to get back to being who we are in our practice habits, our defensive habits and on the offensive end as well.”
