Barnes and Noble re-opens in Coral Springs

From David Volz

Barnes and Noble has re-opened its location in The Walk in Coral Springs. Customers can enjoy a wide selection of books and enjoy a pleasant environment to browse. The store had closed temporarily in February 2020. Many residents wrote letters to Barnes and Noble asked for it to be reopened.

This location is the first Barnes and Noble to be opened in South Florida in 13 years and one of ten stores being opened by the company in 2021. The newly renovated Barnes and Noble offers a change in the bookseller’s appearance. The design of the new store is light and airy with large book rooms and a selection of puzzles, board games and toys.

“Barnes and Noble is so thrilled to be re-opening our new store at The Walk in Coral Springs and are excited to welcome the community into this beautiful, updated space,” said James Daunt, who become the CEO of Barnes and Noble in September 2019. “Karen and her team have created a beautiful new store here in South Florida, stocked with all the best books and brand-new Fall publishing that readers are looking for. The last year has rejuvenated a love of reading in the United States and we are all delighted to welcome customers old and new to our store.”

Barnes and Noble encourages each store to curate their bookstore in a way to appeal to local customers. The store in Coral Springs is led by Karen Foster and she is working to provide a variety of books tailored to the local residents.
