Bills beat Steeler in Thriller

By Byron Richmond

Sunday night football game was definitely a game between 2 teams struggling to make the playoffs this season as the Steelers took on the Buffalo Bills at Heinz field in a flex TV game.

It was a highly contested game with two of the best defenses in the game going at it so it became a low scoring game like I thought it would.

Josh Allen ended up throwing the game winning touchdown with 7:55 left in the game to Tyler Kroft to clinch the first playoff berth for the Bills since the ’89 season. Josh Allen didn’t light it up stat wise because the powerful Steelers defense was up in his face the whole game so he threw for only 139 yards but that touchdown pass was all it needed.

Devin Singletary was the leading rusher for the Bills as he went for 87 on 21 carries and John Brown was the leading receiver for them as he was a yard short of 100 on 7 receptions. Devlin Hodges “The duck”, as Pittsburgh faithful call him proved this game that with a good defense he is mediocre as he went for 202 yards with a touchdown and 4 interceptions with 2 of those interceptions critical as they were driving close to the end zone on their final two drives and just couldn’t deliver.

With this win the Bills now have a chance to win their division if New England faulters Saturday when the two face off and win the final game of the season and with the Steelers well this games hurts them because with this loss the teams behind them fighting for the 2nd wild card are only a game back.

So get ready football fans it’s going to be a crazy finish to end the year.
