BASE | Schroeder Earns Second Nod to AAC Honor Roll

BOCA RATON, Fla. – For the second time this season, Florida Atlantic junior C/OF John Schroeder has been named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll, the league announced on Monday.Schroeder went 6-for-17 (.353) at the plate in four games last week with three home runs, seven RBI, and five runs scored. The switch hitter homered twice from the right side of the plate in Friday’s 4-2 win over Wichita State and added another long ball from the left side in the middle game on Saturday.For the season, the Lakewood Ranch, Fla. native is leading the Owls with seven homers, 34 RBI, and a .512 slugging percentage. He was previously named to the Honor Roll on March 11 after homering in three straight games against FIU.
