GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida Atlantic baseball will travel to Gainesville on Wednesday for a meeting with No. 7 Florida. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m., airing on SEC Network Plus.
The Owls are 10-1 after sweeping Fordham over the weekend, the fourth-best start for the program in the last 30 years. Florida is 11-1 after taking two of three from Miami over the weekend and will play UCF in Orlando on Tuesday.
OWLS IN REVIEW
The Owls reached 10 wins with Sunday’s series finale victory over Fordham.
Jake Duer launched a walk-off solo home run in the bottom of the ninth.
Florida Atlantic already has midweek wins over Miami and UCF.

Duer was named to the AAC Weekly Honorable Mention list for the second straight week.
He had four hits in Saturday’s 11-1 win over Fordham – his fourth four-hit game of the season.
The junior outfielder ranks second in Division I with 26 total hits.
Zach Kilby will make his third start of the season on Wednesday – Kilby owns a 3.37 ERA in 10.2 innings so far.
THE OPPONENT
Florida has swept Air Force and Dayton and has taken midweek matchups from Jacksonville, Stetson, and North Florida.
Brady Donay is hitting .432, entering Tuesday’s meeting with UCF.USF transfer Bobby Boser has five home runs and 14 RBI.
Florida went 36-30 last season and advanced to Omaha for the College World Series.
OPPONENT HISTORY
The Gators have won the last three matchups against the Owls since 2023.
Last year’s matchup was a back-and-forth slugfest where UF came out on top 10-8.

The Owls will face FIU in a home-and-home weekend series.
Friday (6:30 p.m.) and Sunday (Noon) will be played in Miami.
Saturday’s middle game will be a 4 p.m. first pitch at the FAU Baseball Stadium.
