BALLY SPORTS TO BROADCAST 2024 CARIBBEAN SERIES BASEBALL TOURNAMENT LIVE FROM MIAMI

MIAMI Baseball season is heating up early for fans across Florida, as Bally Sports, in partnership with the Miami Marlins, announced it will broadcast the entire 2024 Caribbean Series (Serie del Caribe). All 25 games in the international tournament to be held Feb. 1-9 at loanDepot park will air on Bally Sports Florida or Bally Sports Sun and stream live in the Bally Sports app with English-language commentary.

The event’s field features teams that won the championship in their respective winter league, representing the Caribbean Professional Baseball Confederation nations (Dominican Republic, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Venezuela) plus teams from Curaçao, Panama and Nicaragua.

The schedule features three games each day (10:30 a.m., 3:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.) from Thursday, Feb. 1 through Wednesday, Feb. 7. The four teams with the best records after round-robin play will advance to the two semifinal games on Thursday, Feb. 8, with the championship and third-place game set for Friday, Feb. 9.

With a rich history dating back to 1949, the Caribbean Series is an annual winter league championship tournament sanctioned by Major League Baseball. This marks the first time it will be held at an MLB venue and it comes a year after loanDepot park hosted three rounds of the thrilling 2023 World Baseball Classic.

Dominican champion Tigres del Licey looks to defend its Caribbean Series title after winning the event for a record 12th time last winter.

  • Tigres del Licey (Dominican Republic)
