BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic University Athletics has launched the “We Believe in Paradise” initiative.
Today, Dec. 1, is #GivingTuesday, a global day of philanthropic giving that follows Black Friday and Cyber Monday. It is the perfect day to launch a campaign which is geared towards supporting nearly 500 current FAU student-athletes. Those current Owls represent the thousands of student-athletes who have donned the Blue, Red and Silver before them, as well as the FAU community and their families who have guided them toward their collegiate goals.
The We Believe in Paradise initiative is designed to help FAU Athletics continue to provide a high-level academic and athletic experience for Owl student-athletes. This is an even more vital initiative as everyone works through the global Covid-19 pandemic.
“Our student-athletes need your philanthropic support,” said Brian White, FAU’s vice president and Director of Athletics. “Your donation will not only enhance the lives of our nearly 500 student-athletes by helping them to achieve success academically, athletically, and in their pursuit of successful lives, but it will also help our athletic department reach the incredible potential that we all BELIEVE we can reach and achieve greatness for our University and the Paradise community.”
