Amerigol LATAM Cup Returns for Fifth Annual Tournament at Florida Panthers IceDen on Aug. 23-27

2023 LATAM Cup Will Feature 33 International Hockey Teams, Six Divisions, Event Open to the Public

SUNRISE, Fla. – The Florida Panthers today announced that the 2023 Amerigol LATAM Cup will return for the fifth annual tournament at Panthers IceDen in Coral Springs from Wednesday, Aug. 23 to Sunday, Aug. 27, 2023. Attendance to all LATAM Cup events is open to the public and proudly supported by the Florida Panthers, the National Hockey League (NHL) and the National Hockey League Players’ Association (NHLPA). The mission of the Amerigol International Hockey Association is to provide hockey players in Latin America, the Caribbean and other non-traditional hockey markets around the world the opportunity to showcase their talent and raise awareness of hockey in their countries, while at the same time growing the game within these same communities in North America. 
 

This year’s Amerigol LATAM Cup will welcome two new teams (Armenia and Greece), one new division (U14) and draw 33 teams from 21 countries and territories, including Argentina, Brazil, the Caribbean, Central America, Chile, Colombia, Egypt, Israel, Lebanon, Mexico and Venezuela. More than 750 players across six divisions, including Men’s Divisions I and II, Women’s, Youth Under-12, Under-14 and Under-16 divisions will participate.

Single day tickets are $5 while a full tournament pass (all five days) is $20. Exit and re-entry will be allowed for both single day and full tournament passes. The tournament begins on Wednesday, Aug. 23 at 11 a.m. (ET) when the Caribbean and Chile face off in the Women’s Division. The full schedule of games can be found here. 

The entire tournament will be live streamed with free access through FloHockey (previously HockeyTV), the world’s biggest platform of live and on-demand elite hockey broadcasts.  

The NHL will display the Prince of Wales Trophy and Clarence S. Campbell Bowl on Saturday, Aug. 26 from 12-4 p.m. at Panthers IceDen for LATAM Cup participants and fans to take photos with.
