- The American Athletic Conference game between Memphis and South Florida – originally scheduled for Friday – has been rescheduled for Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. The conference and teams will assess the conditions and overall situation after Hurricane Milton has passed to determine if further adjustments are necessary.
- Army and Navy are both 5-0 for the first time since 1945.

- Navy RB Eli Heidenreich had 100 rushing yards and 101 passing yards in the Midshipmen’s win at Air Force last Saturday, becoming the first player in program history to hit triple digits in rushing and receiving in the same game.
- The annual Army-Navy game in the second Saturday in December will not count as a conference game, but should the two academies finish atop the American Athletic Conference standings, they would meet in the AAC Championship Game Dec. 6, then play America’s Game the following week in Landover, Maryland. There is a 1.1% chance (1-in-91) of any two specific teams’ meeting in The American Championship Game.
- Tulane’s 71-20 win against UAB marked the Green Wave’s largest margin of victory in a conference game since 1939, when Tulane beat Sewanee 52-0 in an SEC matchup.
- Tulane has won 12 consecutive American Athletic Conference regular-season games and has the nation’s second-longest conference winning streak. Only Michigan (24), has a longer streak.
