Florida’s largest indoor arena to utilize available parking lot space to provide safe, quality parking for commercial truck drivers

Monday, Jan. 29, 2024SUNRISE, Fla. – The Florida Panthers announced today that Amerant Bank Arena will become a flagship host for ParkPro™, a free web platform and mobile application offering ample, safe, quality parking spaces for commercial truck drivers.
“We are proud to partner with ParkPro to offer our available parking lot space at Amerant Bank Arena as a solution for long-haul truck drivers to rest along routes for their safety and wellbeing of drivers around them,” said Florida Panthers EVP of People & Facilities Rob Stevenson. “We have a unique responsibility as a sports and entertainment location to be innovative when it comes to leveraging the spaces we operate for functionality and the wellbeing of our community.”
Amerant Bank Arena will begin to offer available parking spaces for ParkPro users most evenings throughout the year that do not conflict with arena schedules. ParkPro connects commercial drivers seeking safe, convenient, high-quality parking spaces with pre-vetted properties on its platform which supports drivers in meeting delivery deadlines for the businesses they serve.
In May 2023, Amerant Bank Arena became host to FleetForce Truck Driving School offering commercial truck driving courses in the unused parking lots to meet the growing demand for licensed drivers across Florida.
