The SEC’s eight gymnastics programs places a gymnast who gives back to her community through exemplary service efforts on the team. Each of the 21 sports the league sponsors has its own Community Service Team.

Since fall 2019 classes began, Hundley leads the Gator gymnasts with 45 community service hours.

She’s made 14 visits to local schools to lead elementary students in active study breaks dubbed ‘Brain Breaks’ by the participants. Hundley also helped at the Hidden Oak Carnival.

At the American Cancer Society’s annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event last fall at Celebration Pointe, Hundley led the walker’s warm-up session.

She also led the warm-up and was part of the staff for the 2019 Harvest Food Drive. At the annual event, aspiring gymnasts can join the Gators for a gymnastics clinic. Admission is six non-perishable food items and the team contributed almost 900 pounds of food items to a local food after the 2019 event.

Hundley helped distribute shoes at local elementary schools as part of the annual Florida student-athlete led Gator Tracks. Gator student-athletes purchased and distributed more than 400 pairs of shoes to local children in December of 2019.

The Gator gymnastics team served a meal to the residents of Gainesville’s Hope Lodge in the spring of 2019 and 2020.
