Alex Magee to Join 2021 Gator Gymnastics Team

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Gator gymnastics adds Alex Magee to the 2021 roster. Magee was admitted to the University of Florida earlier this spring and plans to make student-athlete as part of her UF experience.

Magee is an International Baccalaureate (IB) student and graduates next month from Jones High School in Orlando, Fla. She trains under Jeff Wood and Christi Barineau at Orlando Metro.

“We are thrilled that Alex made the decision to become a Gator student-athlete. Alex not only brings in the academic focus to become a biomedical engineer, but the desire and passion to do what she can to make an immediate impact on this Gator team,” Florida Head Coach Jenny Rowland said. “Her power and finesse on all four events will be most evident in her NCAA career and excited to have Gator Nation welcome her with open arms.”
