TAMPA (Dec. 18, 2020) – The American Athletic Conference has announced that the women’s basketball conference game featuring Houston at No. 23/24 USF (Dec. 19 at 7 p.m., ESPN+) has been postponed due to COVID-19 related issues within the Houston program.
The date and game time of the rescheduled conference matchup between the teams will be announced at a later date.
The Bulls will return to action on Tuesday, Dec. 22 when they face Cincinnati, on the road in Fifth-Third Arena. Game time is scheduled for 2 p.m. with the game being carried live on ESPN+.

Individual tickets buyers will be contacted directly by the USF athletics ticket office as to further options regarding this game.

USF notched its ninth consecutive 19-win season and was poised for its ninth straight postseason appearance in 2019-20 before the COVID-19 pandemic forced the end of the college basketball season. USF has made 15 postseason tournament appearances and had six NCAA Tournament berths in head coach Jose Fernandez’s 20 seasons. The all-time winningest coach in program history, Fernandez has guided USF to nine 20-win seasons, two WNIT final four appearances, the 2009 WNIT championship and won more than 350 games.
