KEARNEY, NE. – The second-ranked Nova Southeastern Sharks Women’s Team’s run to the ITA Indoor National Championship was ended on Sunday evening, as the Sharks were defeated 4-2 by No. 1 Barry on Sunday evening from the Ernest Grundy Tennis Center.

Doubles
Barry took the doubles point, as the duos of Lian Benedejcic and Ita Habekovic, as well as Patricie Kubikova and Alexandra Weir, dropped their matches 6-1.
Singles
Alexandra Weir earned a point for the Sharks, defeating Alloiarova Dinara 7(7) – 6(1), 7-5
Ita Habekovic added another victory for the Sharks, beating Maia Haumuller 6-4, 6-1.
No. 2 Nova Southeastern returns to action on Sunday, March 3rd, taking on the University of Charleston in Orlando, Fla., at the USTA National Campus. First serve is set for 12 p.m.
