GAINESVILLE, Fla. – With Florida’s 40th volleyball season on the horizon, the 2023 schedule has been announced by head coach Mary Wise.

Florida then hits the road for the Sunshine Showdown in Tallahassee, taking on the Seminoles on Tuesday, Sept. 12.
A season after setting the NCAA regular season attendance record against Wisconsin, the Gators welcome the Badgers to Exactech Arena on Sunday, Sept. 17.
The Southeastern Conference plans on returning to a pre-COVID schedule format, with teams no longer facing the same opponent on back-to-back days. Florida starts SEC play on Friday, Sept. 22 at Auburn, then takes on the Georgia Bulldogs at home on Sunday, Sept. 24.
The Gators stay in Gainesville, taking on the Texas A&M Aggies on Wednesday, Sept. 27 before traveling to Columbia, S.C. to face the South Carolina Gamecocks on Oct. 1.
UF is then home for two matches, taking on Auburn on Oct. 6 before facing Alabama on Oct. 8. The Gators then start a three-match road trip, hitting Mississippi State (Oct. 13), Texas A&M (Oct. 20) and Ole Miss (Oct. 25).
Closing out the month of October, Florida takes on the Arkansas Razorbacks on Sunday, Oct. 29.
The first weekend of November, the Gators host Tennessee (Nov. 3) and Kentucky (Nov. 5), then follow up with a split weekend, hosting LSU on Nov. 10 and traveling to Alabama on Nov. 12.
Three of Florida’s last four contests are on the road, starting with a matchup against Missouri on Friday, Nov. 17. The Gators then head to Fayetteville, Ark. to take on the Razorbacks on Nov. 19.
Florida’s final home match is slated for Wednesday, Nov. 22 against South Carolina, then following the Thanksgiving holiday, the Gators close out the regular season at Kentucky on Saturday, Nov. 25.
