SB: South Florida Caps Off Regular Season Home Stand with Memphis

TAMPA, April 27, 2022 – The University of South Florida softball team will welcome the Memphis Tigers for the final regular season home series of the year this Friday-Sunday. 

Prior to Saturday’s game, head coach, Ken Eriksen will honor the 2023 senior class.   

LAST WEEK 

Jordyn Kadlub (Wesley Chapel) led the team batting a .385 with five hits, one double, and one RBI. She was perfect at stolen bases, as well as Kathy Garcia-Soto (Tampa).  

Vivian Ponn (Fort Myers) and Lydia Castro (Lithia) each had a homerun last week. Ponn’s two-run homer tied the game against No. 13 Florida. Castro’s was a solo homerun against UCF.  

Gabriella Nori (Weston) earned three starts last week and pitched one complete game. She struck out a total of 10 batters and posted a 1.65 ERA.
