MIAMI – Miami Marlins players and alumni are volunteering their time on Saturday, September 10 to lead the Miami Marlins Foundation’s Baseball Fantasy Camp for Kids at loanDepot park for youth from Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Therapeutic Recreation and Inclusion Program, Miami Learning Experience School, The Miracle League of Miami-Dade, and Special Olympics Florida.
Participants will take the field for an All-Star experience, including hitting stations at home plate, running the bases, fielding drills in the outfield, and more. Each station covers a basic playing fundamental and is led by a Marlins player. Each young athlete will also receive a personalized Miami Marlins jersey that includes their name and favorite number.
Baseball Fantasy Camp for Kids Foundation provides kids with physical and intellectual challenges the opportunity to improve their skills by participating in a one-day clinic.
