Club to open season at Little Caesars Arena versus Orlando Magic on October 19 DETROIT – August 17, 2022 – Today, the Detroit Pistons announced the 2022-23 schedule and home game promotional schedule. The Pistons will begin their 2022-23 campaign by hosting the Orlando Magic at Little Caesars Arena on Wednesday, October 19. The Pistons first road slate will begin on Friday, October 21 as the team travels to New York to square off against the Knicks, followed by contests at the Indiana Pacers on October 22and Washington Wizards on October 25.Home game highlights of the 2022-23 schedule include the defending NBA Champion Golden State Warriors traveling to Little Caesars Arena on October 30, as well as Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and the Boston Celtics coming to town on November 12. Luka Dončić and the Dallas Mavericks will visit the 313 on December 1, with LeBron James and the L.A. Lakers traveling to Detroit on December 11. The Pistons will host Joel Embiid and the 76ers on January 8, and the Giannis Antetokounmpo-led Milwaukee Bucks on January 23 and March 27. On January 19, the Pistons will travel to Paris to host the Chicago Bulls at Accor Arena. The Pistons final homestand of the season will see them host Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat on April 4, and the Brooklyn Nets on April 5.The Pistons will be introducing their new “Pick 10” program, a completely customizable ticket package that allows fans to select any 10 or more games, with no exclusions. December will see the Pistons celebrate the “Season of Giving”, and Black History Month will be celebrated during each February home game.
