Perry, N.Y.
– Winners of eight straight games to close out the regular season and the 2019 Sunshine State Conference Regular Season Champions, the Lynn University men’s lacrosse team bumped up three spots to No. 15 with the announcement of this week’s USILA/Warrior and New Balance Coaches Poll.

The Blue and White’s 11-10 overtime defeat over Saint Leo on Saturday capped a program-best 11-3 regular-season record and garnered its first league title in program history.

After following out of the rankings from Weeks 4-9, the Fighting Knights re-entered the poll last week at No. 18. This week’s (Week 11) No. 15 selection ties a season-high for Lynn, matching the Week 3 poll.

Tampa is the only other team from the SSC featured in the rankings, returning this week at No. 19.

Additionally, Lynn moved up two spots to No. 13 in the national rankings by Nike/US Lacrosse Magazine. Inside Lacrosse has yet to release its newest poll, but Lynn was tabbed No. 16 last week.
