Tempe, Ariz. – The first singles and doubles national rankings of the regular season were released by Oracle/ITA this week with Natalia Siedliska, Federica Mordegan and Leolia Jeanjean of the Lynn University women’s tennis team debuting in the singles rankings.
The newest team rankings were also released this week. Despite a dominant 11-0 record to start the season, with eight coming as shutouts and three convincing wins over NCAA Division I opponents, the Fighting Knights somehow dropped from No. 2 to No. 7.
From the Sunshine State Conference, Barry remains in the top spot while Saint Leo holds its post at No. 3, who Lynn already defeated 6-1 on the road.
Siedliska (No. 47), Mordegan (No. 51) and Jeanjean (No. 60) are all undefeated in singles play so far this season and are making their first appearances in the national rankings.
The Blue and White did not have any representation in the doubles rankings, even though Jeanjean and Siedliska hold a 10-0 record at the No. 1 flight this season.
