BOCA RATON, Fla. – Lynn University’s softball team split its doubleheader with Caldwell University in non-conference action on Monday afternoon, winning the second game 8-0.

· Grasy Gomez collected the lone hit for the Fighting Knights.
Game Two
· Kayla Sheffield totaled five RBI, including a three-run homer in the bottom of the first.
· Allyson Jameston (9-4) surrendered just two hits and struck out one.
· Gomez was 1-for-3 with a double, a run scored and an RBI.
· Emily Yakel singled in Sheffield in the fourth, going 1-for-2.
· Lexi Butler was 1-for-2 with two runs scored and a walk.
· Mia Veliz and Natalie Costero each had hits for Lynn.
