49’ers pound the Packers

By Byron Richmond

It was a game where it was supposed to be 2 of the best teams in the NFC going at it. We were all wrong as Matt LeFluer was completely out coached by Kyle Shanahan on both sides of the ball.

Aaron Rodgers threw for a career low 104 yards, while his counterpart Jimmy Garropolo on the other hand threw for 253 yards with 2 touchdowns. I’m not going to say Rodgers is done with one bad performance like others are saying but what people are forgetting is he really didn’t have any protection as most of his O Line was injured. Once their best O lineman Bryan Bulaga went down,  Nick Bosa and the rest of the Niners Defense was smelling blood as they sacked Rodgers 5 times and forced him out of the pocket to make bad throws.

George Kittle once again proved why he is one of the better tight ends in the game as he had 6 catches for 129 yards and a touchdown. I think now everyone is clearly seeing that the 49ers are indeed for real and a team to be taken seriously. This was a statement game and I hope for if there is a rematch in the playoffs that it be a way closer contest than this one and not no 37-8 blow out.
