20 Gators Earn All-American Indoor Track and Field Honors

10 men and 10 women receive All-American honors

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – 20 Gators received honors on Monday afternoon when the U.S Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the 2023 All-American Indoor Track & Field Teams.

Athletes earned All-American First Team honors for finishing top-8 in their respective events. Athletes who finished ninth through sixteenth earned second-team honors.

Florida earned a total of 25 All-American honors, 13 for the men and 12 for the women. This is the fourth most in the country behind Arkansas (35), Texas (29), and Washington (26).

The Gators are one of two programs in the country with double-digit first-team honors on both the men’s (11) and women’s (10) teams. They are among only four programs with double-digit first-team honors by either the men’s or women’s team, along with Arkansas, Texas, and Washington.

Florida won seven total medals at the NCAA Indoor Championships. Jasmine Moore was crowned National Champion in both the women’s long and triple jump. She became just the fourth woman in history, either indoor or outdoor, to clear both 15 meters in the triple jump and 7 meters in the long jump. Ryan Willie secured silver in the men’s 400m, the second fastest time in the world this year (44.93). Four Gators earned bronze at the Indoor Championships: Claire Bryant in the women’s long jump, Talitha Diggs in the women’s 400m, Pjai Austin in the men’s 60m, and Robert Gregory in the men’s 200m.
