The Owls then pushed a tiebreaker on court three, but despite outstanding play, FAU could not beat the homecourt advantage and surrendered the matches’ doubles point. The Owls then moved to singles play where they faced their first opponent of 2025 in which every singles player held a top 100 national ranking.
