TAMPA, Fla. – Lynn University’s women’s track team participated in the Tampa Track Classic on Friday evening, posting a solid showing in its second meet of the 2020 season.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
· Chase Yoder took second in her 800m debut with at time of 2:20.73.
· Madison Wells won the 200m in 25.47 seconds.
· Taryn Super and Alexandra Jones both set new personal-bests in the 5,000m with times of 19:02.29 and 19:15.51, respectively.
· Lynn’s 4 x 800m team of Lauren Leckenby, Emily Christensen, Jones and Rachel Ramirez set a new program record with a time of 10:11.57.
UP NEXT:
Lynn will have a weekend off from competition before heading back to the Ansin Sports Complex in Miramar, Fla. for the second time this season, participating in the Saint Thomas Invite, which begins at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday, March 14.
