CLEARWATER, Fla. – Lynn University’s women’s swimming team wrapped up day three at the Sunshine State Conference (SSC) Championships on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED:· Evening Session
- Karolina Smylek earned a bronze medal in the 100-back (55.16) with a third-place finish.
- Ewa Osiniak took seventh in the 100-breast (1:04.23).
- Samantha Beck was first in the ‘B’ final with a time of 1:04.47.
- Samar Khacha’s 2:06.36 in the 200-fly secured her seventh place.
- The 800-free relay team of Clara Monges, Sarah Nichols, Beck and Osiniak took third, earning the bronze (7:34.51).
· Morning Session
- Smylek finished third in the 100-back with an NCAA ‘B’ cut time of 56.14.
- Osiniak was fourth in the 100-breast with a time of 1:03.64, an NCAA ‘B’ cut.
- Beck took 11th in the 100-breast (1:05.04).
- Grace Armit, Grace Foltz, Savanna Suggs, Shelby McKeever and Patricia Duong all swam the 100-breast.
- Anita Field, Alyson Currao, Tatiana St. Juste and Sydney Keefe all raced in the 100-back.
- Kali Bush, Susan Faremouth, Brecca Hawkins and Shelley Sikes swam the 500-free.
- Khacha took eighth in the 200-fly to close out the morning.
