BOCA RATON, Fla. – Lynn University’s women’s swimming team embarked on its 2020 campaign on Saturday afternoon, claiming four event victories in a 146.5-96.5 defeat to Carson-Newman University at the McCusker Pool Complex.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
· Karolina Smylek continued her winning ways in the backstroke, taking first in both the 50-back and 100-back with times of 27.79 and 59.8 seconds, respectively.
· Samantha Beck also notched a first-place finish, claiming gold in the 100-breaststroke (1:06.77).
· Ewa Osinak rounded out Lynn’s trio of winners with a solid victory in the 100-IM in a time of 59.41 seconds.
