BOCA RATON, Fla. – Lynn University’s Uloma Enyogasi was selected as the Sunshine State Conference’s (SSC) Women’s Basketball Player of the Week, as announced on Monday afternoon.
The junior forward from Imo, Nigeria netted a turnaround jumper with 4.5 seconds to go to propel the Blue and White over No. 10 Alaska-Anchorage, the first win over a top-10 team in program history.
Enyogasi scored a game-high 16 points, knocking down two three-pointers, and racked up her first double-double of the season with 10 rebounds. She has now scored in double-digits in four of Lynn’s first seven games.
Lynn women’s basketball hosts Barry in an SSC clash on Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 5:30 p.m.
