TAMPA, Fla. – In a matchup of two top-four teams in the Sunshine State Conference (SSC), Lynn University’s women’s basketball team could not past first-place University of Tampa on Saturday afternoon, falling 66-54.

STATS OF THE GAME:
· Uloma Enyogasi led the Fighting Knights with 18 points and eight rebounds, making all seven of her free throw attempts.
· Taylor Jones went 7-for-11 from the field on her way to 14 points.
· Sarah Baer posted 12 points and 10 rebounds for her ninth double-double of the season.
· Tampa took a commanding 24-10 lead after the first quarter, seeing that to the finish line.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
· Enyogasi, Jones and Baer accounted for 44 of Lynn’s 54 points, making up for 81.4 percent of the Fighting Knights’ scoring.
· The teams only made a combined five three-pointers in the game.
· Tampa is the only undefeated team remaining and holds a two-game cushion in the SSC’s top spot. Lynn still sits fourth despite the defeat.
