BOCA RATON, Fla. – Newcomer Sarah Baer poured in a game-high 18 points as Lynn University’s women’s basketball team secured a convincing 78-55 victory over Florida National in their final unofficial contest of the season on Friday evening.

STATS OF THE GAME:
· Baer wasted no time in making her presence felt in the paint, going 7-for-9 from the field and knocking down 4-of-5 from the charity stripe to pace the Lynn offense.
· Heather Durand, another new member of the Blue and White, scored 13 points, adding six rebounds, four on the offensive glass.
· Lynn caused 25 FNU turnovers, but did commit 18 of its own.
· The Blue and White assisted on 12-of-28 field goals while FNU had just five assists on 16 makes.
· The Fighting Knights controlled the boards (39-34), the paint (26-16) and led 33-18 in bench scoring.
