WKU FB: WKU Football Announces Additions to Support Staff

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU Football has announced the addition of six new members to its support staff.

The Hilltoppers will be welcoming Justin Brown as the Director of Player Engagement, Connor Coker as the Assistant Director of Football Equipment Operations, Zach Kramme as the Director of Scouting, John Kuceyeski as the Director of Player Personnel, Jim Meussling as the Assistant Director of Football Operations and Meghan Reider as the Director of Recruiting Operations.

Brown most recently served as the Wide Receivers Coach and Co-Special Teams Coordinator at Bethel University, a position he held starting in 2019. While at Bethel, he mentored NAIA All-American kick returner J’Kobi Reddick and MSC All-Conference wide receivers James Dixon and Caleb Roebuck. Before that, Brown was a Graduate Assistant at Arkansas Tech University. During the 2017 and ‘18 seasons, he coached the running backs group while guiding Braden Springer and Bryan Allen to All-Conference honors. In 2015 and ‘16, Brown coached the halfbacks and tight ends, including All-American halfback Chris Eastburn.

Prior to Arkansas Tech, Brown began his coaching career at Athens High School in 2012, where he was the Wide Receivers Coach for three years while also assisting in the coordination of the team’s passing game. Before his coaching career began, Brown played college football at the University of North Alabama, Butte College and Miles College as a wide receiver. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies from Athens University in 2013 before completing his master’s in Teaching from Arkansas Tech University in 2018.

Coker previously served as the Head Student Manager at Appalachian State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. As Head Student Manager, Coker oversaw all student managers during day-to-day operations and handled the scheduling of student managers while also maintaining and auditing inventory.

Prior to becoming the Head Student Manager in 2020, Coker was a student manager for two years at App State. During that time, he planned and facilitated equipment operations for over 100 student-athletes on the football team while also preparing equipment for road games.

Kramme most recently served as the Director of Recruiting for the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga football program. While there, he served as the Pro Liaison and oversaw the execution of the team’s Pro day. He also orchestrated the signing of the top recruiting class in the SOCON (20th in FCS) for the 2020 season, which included a school-record seven three-star prospects.

Prior to joining the UTC staff, Kramme graduated from Georgia Southern in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management. While he was a student at Georgia Southern, Kramme served as a recruiting assistant for the football team, a position he held for two years. While in that role, he identified, evaluated and collected data and video on prospects to provide direction to the coaching staff. Kramme also helped the Eagles achieve the number one recruiting class in the Sun Belt in 2018.

Kuceyeski previously served as the Offensive Coordinator and Tight Ends Coach at Eastern Illinois University for three seasons from 2019 to ‘21. While at EIU, he coached three All-OVC Newcomers, two All-Conference honorees and one Freshman All-American.

Prior to that, Kuceyeski worked at Cornell University as the Running Backs and Tight Ends Coach for one season before becoming the Offensive Line Coach for two years. He also made stops at Iowa State University as the Director of Scouting, the University of Toledo as the Recruiting Coordinator and Western Michigan University as the Director of Player Personnel. Kuceyeski served as an Offensive Graduate Assistant Coach at Northwestern University, where he assisted with the offensive line, tight ends, wide receivers and special teams. Kuceyeski graduated from Penn State University in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in Finance while serving as a student manager and undergraduate assistant coach during his four years at the school.  

Meussling most recently served as the Assistant Director of Football Operations and Director of Video Operations at Eastern Illinois University. While there, he utilized and managed program resources to improve player experience including new equipment, additional apparel and facility improvements. Meussling also coordinated visits for student-athletes and NFL personnel during his time at EIU.

Prior to joining the Eastern Illinois staff, Meussling graduated from Aurora University in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management. While at Aurora, he served as a coaching intern, which involved overseeing day-to-day operations for staff and players while also handling the delegation of equipment and team facilities. He is the son of Todd and Sandi Meussling and has three older sisters: Lauren, Mary Ann and Madeline. Meussling is also engaged to his fiancé, Abby Cisna. 

Reider previously served as the Director of Football Operations/On-Campus Recruiter/Pro-Liaison at Wofford College. While there, she was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the football program which included managing team travel logistics, budgets, organizing official and unofficial visits and serving as the liaison to the compliance office. During the 2021 season, Reider coached the scout team offense in an interim role for a short stint, making her the first female to hold a football coaching role in the Southern Conference.

Prior to her time at Wofford, Reider was a Recruiting Operations Assistant at Northwestern University during the 2018 and ’19 seasons, during which the Wildcats won the 2018 Holiday Bowl. While at Northwestern, she organized itineraries for prospects visits and coordinated travel details for coaches recruiting tours. Reider graduated from Valparaiso University in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management while also serving as the Assistant Director of Football Operations during her four years as a student.
