DADE CITY, Fla. – The third-ranked Nova Southeastern Sharks Women’s Golf team and Ellen Andersson earned their second win of the 2023-24 season on Tuesday afternoon, winning Saint Leo Invitational from the Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club. As a team, the Sharks (-1) won the tournament by 19 strokes, while Ellen Andersson (-5) was victorious for the second consecutive tournament.
The Sharks placed four student-athletes inside the top-6 in the tournament, as Andersson (1st/-5), Ellen Ramstedt (2nd/E), Hannah Mitterberger (5th/+3), and Maia Samuelsson (6th/+4) all performed exceptionally well.

Results
Ellen Andersson began the round with four consecutive pars, before adding a birdie on the fifth hole. Andersson followed with pars from the seventh through tenth holes, while recording a birdie on 11. The senior followed with a birdie on the 11th hole and a bogey on the 18th, to end her round at an even-par.
Ellen Ramstedt, the second-place finisher, birdied back-to-back holes on seven and eight, and ended her tournament at an even-par.
Hannah Mitterberger recorded pars on six consecutive holes, from the second to the seventh, and added a birdie 11. Mitterberger finished with a +3 for the tournament and in fifth place.
Maia Samuelsson, the fourth Shark to finish inside the top-6, recorded a pair of birdies and finished the tournament at +4.
Jimena Marques ended the tournament in a tie for 12th with a +8, tallied three birdies in the final round.
Lua Pousa Dacasa finished the tournament inside the top-25 and recorded a +11 over the three rounds.
