BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic women’s basketball closes out a two-game homestand this Wednesday as the Owls (8-15, 3-9 AAC) host the North Texas Mean Green (18-5, 8-3 AAC) for their red out game on Wednesday, Feb. 14 for a 7 p.m. tip inside Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena.

- The North Texas Mean Green enter Wednesday’s contest leading the AAC at 18-5 overall and 8-3 in league play. The Mean Green bounced back from a two-game losing streak in their last contest, earning a 78-65 win over the SMU Mustangs.
- The Mean Green lead the AAC in numerous categories as a team, including winning percentage (.783), scoring margin (12.6), scoring offense (75.4), field goal percentage (.467), 3-point percentage defense (.258), free throws made per game (16.6), and free throw attempts per game (24.3). - North Texas is led offensively by DesiRay Kernal, Tommisha Lampkin, and Dyani Robinson, averaging 15.9, 15.3, and 10.7 points per game, respectively.
- Ereauna Hardaway leads the Mean Green in assists, dishing out 2.8 assists per game.
- Defensively, Kernal and Lampkin boast a team-leading 7.6 rebounds per game each, while Kernal leads the team in steals with 1.4 steals per game and Lampkin leads North Texas in blocks with 1.3 blocks per game.

- Florida Atlantic leads the all-time series between the Owls and the Mean Green, 11-10, including a 6-2 advantage when playing in Boca Raton. The Owls are on a two-game skid against North Texas, which includes an 86-52 defeat earlier this season on Jan. 7, 2024.
