BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic women’s basketball will close out its home-opening three-game stretch this weekend as the Owls welcome the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats for a 2 p.m. tip inside Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena.

- The Wildcats are paced offensively by Asianae Nicholson, recording 12.3 points per game this season. Nicholson also leads Bethune-Cookman on the glass, collecting a team-leading 9.0 rebounds per game.
- Jordan Brooks boasts a team-leading 3.33 assists per game this season, while Karianna Woods leads the Wildcats in steals with 2.33 steals per contest.
- Bethune-Cookman’s blocks leader is Kayla Clark, averaging 0.67 blocks per contest this season.
SERIES HISTORY
- Florida Atlantic holds a 22-5 all-time series lead against the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats, including a 12-2 record when playing in Boca Raton. The Owls have won the last five straight meetings between the two programs, including a 79-62 win in their last matchup on Nov. 14, 2022, in Daytona Beach.
LAST TIME OUT: VS. NORTH FLORIDA
- Florida Atlantic picked up its second-straight win on Wednesday, riding a fourth-quarter rally to a 50-41 victory against the North Florida Ospreys.
- Erin Rodgers and Ta’Ziah Jenks led the Owls offensively, scoring double-figures against the Ospreys. Rodgers posted a game-leading 13 points, while Ta’Ziah finished with a team second-best 11 points.
- Jenks also posted the Owls’ first double-double of the season, tying for a team-high 10 rebounds on the day. Jada Moore also collected 10 rebounds in the contest. Moore dished out a season-high five assists, while Jenks tallied a game-leading four steals in the win.
- Florida Atlantic outscored North Florida 14-9 in the first quarter but dominated the Ospreys 22-10 in the final period of play.
- The Owls outshot the Ospreys 30.5 percent to 25.8 percent from the field, and the Owls bench outscored North Florida’s reserves 21-14.
