10/16/2024 | Women’s Basketball BOCA RATON, Fla. – The American Athletic Conference released the official broadcast schedule and tip times for the 2024-25 season on Wednesday. Florida Atlantic’s 2024-25 schedule is highlighted by 15 home contests, while the Owls’ AAC schedule features nine home and away contests, all of which will be broadcast through ESPN on ESPN+. Florida Atlantic will open the 2024-25 season on the road on Nov. 4 at Florida with a 7 p.m. tip on SEC Network+. The Owls will then return to Paradise for a three-game homestand, taking on Mercer on Nov. 9 at 2 p.m., North Florida on Nov. 13 at 11 a.m., and Bethune-Cookman on Nov. 16 at 2 p.m. Florida Atlantic will head back on the road for a pair of Sunshine State battles at Stetson on Nov. 19 at 7 p.m. and FIU on Nov. 23 at 1 p.m. The Owls then host their Thanksgiving Classic on Nov. 29 against Manhattan and Dec. 1 vs. Austin Peay. Tip off for both matches is set for 2 p.m. Florida Atlantic then heads to the Lone Star State for a big midweek road matchup against the TCU Horned Frogs at 7:30 p.m. The Owls will then return home for one final non-conference home contest on Dec. 13 , hosting the Kennesaw State Owls for a 7 p.m. tip. Florida Atlantic will then wrap up non-conference play in Phoenix at the GCU Christmas Classic. The Owls play Georgia Southern on Dec. 18 at 2 p.m., host Grand Canyon on Dec. 19 at 4:30 p.m., before closing out the tournament on Dec. 21 at 12 p.m. against Wright State. Following the GCU Christmas Classic, the Owls will begin AAC play on Dec. 29 inside Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena as they host the Tulane Green Wave for a 2 p.m. tip. Florida Atlantic will then start the new year on the road, heading to Greenville, N.C., to face the East Caroline Pirates on Jan. 4 at 1 p.m. The Owls return to Paradise on Jan. 8 for a two-game homestand, beginning with Temple at 7 p.m. and then facing UAB on Jan. 11 for a 2 p.m. tip. Florida Atlantic will then hit the road, heading to Oklahoma for a midweek meeting with the Tulsa Golden Hurricane on Jan. 15 for a scheduled 7:30 p.m. tip before returning to the Sunshine State for a road matchup against in-state rival South Florida on Jan. 18. Tip is set for 6 p.m. The team will then return home for a pair of contests against Charlotte on Jan. 22 at 7 p.m. and North Texas on Jan. 25 at 2 p.m. The Owls will close out January on the road heading to New Orleans for a midweek clash against Tulane on Jan. 29 at 7:30 p.m. The month of February will open up at home for the Owls as they host Rice on Feb. 1 at 1 p.m. Florida Atlantic will head back out for a pair of road matchups at Wichita State on Feb. 5 at 7 p.m and Memphis on Feb. 8 for a 3 p.m. tip. The Owls will return to Paradise for a one-off home match, hosting in-state rival South Florida for a 2 p.m. tip on Feb. 15. Florida Atlantic will then head to Houston Texas to take on Rice for an 8 p.m. matchup on Feb. 18 before heading to the Tarheel State to face Charlotte on Feb. 22 at 4 p.m. Returning home for another pair of home contests, Florida Atlantic will host Wichita State on February 10 at 2 p.m. and North Texas on February 14 at 7 p.m. The Owls will host East Carolina on Feb. 26 at 7 p.m., before closing out their regular season road slate at UTSA for a 1 p.m. tip on March 1 in San Antonio, Texas. Florida Atlantic will wrap up its 2024-25 regular season on March 4 as the Owls host Memphis on senior day for a 7 p.m. tip. The Owls will then head to the 2025 American Athletic Conference Championship on March 8-12 at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.
