9/9/2024 | Women’s Golf PAWLEY’S ISLAND, S.C. – Florida Atlantic women’s golf moved up three spots on the leaderboard on Monday at the Golfweek Fall Challenge. The Owls improved their team score from Sunday’s opening round by 22 shots. Entering Tuesday’s final round, FAU is tied for 15th. Quick HitsThe Owls’ sophomore duo of Charlotte Perkins and Giulia Scarcello tied for the team’s low round, each signing for a 73 (+2).Perkins’ 73 included five birdies, while Scarcello did it with mostly pars – 14 to be exact.Perkins and Scarcello each moved up 13 spots individually and are tied for 56th in the 93-player field.Freshman Nancy Cox also moved 11 spots up the board with a 74.
