MARICOPA, Ariz. – Florida Atlantic women’s golf will compete in postseason play as a team for the first time in program history. The National Golf Invitational (NGI) begins Friday at Ak-Chin Southern Dunes in Arizona. The second edition of the NGI includes 10 teams and 50 individuals that did not qualify for an NCAA Regional. It will be a three-day, 54-hole stroke play event.
The LineupThe Owls will keep the same starting five that competed in the AAC Championship three weeks ago.Freshman Charlotte Perkins led the Owls at Southern Hills, finishing 14th in the 55-player field. Fellow freshman Giulia Scarcello is also in the lineup this weekend for the Owls.The NGI will be the final event in the careers of seniors Amanda LinnerClemence Cadeac, and Olivia Bergner.The Owls will start play on the 10th tee on Friday alongside Jacksonville St.Round One:
