FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Nadia Lindner, the first Sunshine State Conference Player of the Year and first volleyball student-athlete to be recognized as a first-team AVCA All-American in program history, has signed a professional contract with BIWI VFM in Switzerland.
“We’re so proud of Nadia and excited to watch her take on this next chapter,” said Head Volleyball Coach Kacie Ehinger. “She is coming off playing some of the best volleyball of her career last season and I’m excited for her to showcase her talent overseas.”
Lindner put together one of the greatest single seasons in the history of Nova Southeastern Volleyball. She recorded 457 kills, the fourth most all-time, 4.08 kills-per-set (third), 513.5 points (third), and 4.58 points-per-set (second). Lindner was named the Sunshine State Conference Player of the Week four times during the regular season.
Lindner led the Sharks to a 20-11 record and into the NCAA Regional Tournament for the third consecutive year.
Following the season, Lindner was recognized as a first-team Sunshine State Conference honoree and the first Sunshine State Conference Player of the year in program history. Also, Lindner earned first-team AVCA and D2 CCA South Region first-team honors and was honored as the AVCA and D2 CCA South Region Player of the Year.
